Building Successful International Teams
Inside many international organisations more and more work is being carried out in shorter-term, intensive projects involving international teams. Every team needs a common objective and clear, agreed processes. International teams need these even more. However, differences in national or organisational cultures will almost certainly bring together differing ways of communicating and of making decisions. Individuals coming together for the first time are under greater pressure than ever before to be fully functioning together. A further complication will be that many such teams are virtual, communicating mostly by e-mail, video-conferencing and telephone. This programme is about helping those who manage or participate in international teams to manage these challenges.
