- Book a Course
You know that being a Personal Assistant is a tough job, involving a complex blend of organisational and communication skills. And in the world of global business, you probably need to apply those skills not just in your native language, but in English too. So, to help people like you, Canning runs a highly successful English for PAs course.
You probably act as your boss’s gatekeeper, purchaser, negotiator and diary secretary. You probably put together their presentations, enter into diplomatic discussions with their (and your) peers, customers and suppliers, and you have to deal with delicate interpersonal situations on your boss’s behalf. You need to do all this as well in English as you do in your native language. We can help.
We offer a one-week intensive English course specifically customised to the needs of today’s PA in international business. Designed in partnership with former Canning participants who work as PAs in multinational firms, it draws on our 44 years of experience providing English training to the world’s business people, but allows those who attend to recreate and rehearse exactly the situations you meet in day-to-day life.
So, you convince your boss to send you to Canning in London for a week, for a high quality course, in a group of other PAs, and with training tailored to your needs. In return, you go back to the office with improved English, and the confidence to handle any situation for your boss with the same confidence you would have in your own language. A win-win result for everyone.
Here is a sample programme. Of course, what will actually happen on the course will depend on the needs of you and your fellow participants. But this should give you a flavour of the possible content.
Remember: You can combine this training with other courses.
